On that note, a new opinion poll, published in the Israeli newspaper Maariv on Sunday, revealed that 62% of Israelis are dissatisfied with the outcomes of the war on Gaza. In contrast, 29% expressed satisfaction, while 9% responded with "I don't know."
The poll was conducted on April 3 by one of the research centers in the occupation entity, with 528 participants aged eighteen and above. This sample represents settlers from various parts of occupied Palestine.
Participants in the poll were asked the following question: "These days, half a year has passed since the war. When you consider the war overall, are you satisfied or dissatisfied with the results achieved so far?"
Situation is worse than expected: Israeli media
On the 184th day of the war on Gaza, sirens continued to blare in the settlements surrounding the region, signaling persistent security threats. According to Israeli media, "Israel" did not anticipate the prolonged difficulties following the war, particularly in achieving its objectives, notably the elimination of the Palestinian Resistance.
He further notes that six months after the war and the outbreak of the northern front with Lebanon, it remains uncertain when the residents of the northern settlements will be able to return to their homes. Additionally, there is ambiguity surrounding the assurance of security in this region in the coming six months.
The same media outlet also highlighted the ongoing internal division in "Israel", emphasizing that "after half a year, we are still tearing ourselves apart from the inside." This refers to the demonstrations against the Israeli Prime Minister.
