The Israeli occupation announced on Tuesday the killing of an Israeli soldier due to injuries he sustained near the settlement of "Shavei Shomron" west of Nablus, north of the occupied West Bank.

Israeli media outlets also revealed that this soldier is the fourth to be killed this month.

Israeli Channel 12 said that the soldier in question was during the targeting of an Israeli force guarding a settler march near the "Shavei Shomron" settlement.

According to local sources, Israeli occupation troops in the area were placed on alert, and a search for the shooters began in the region.

Israeli media reported Sunday that an Israeli occupation soldier was killed and two others were wounded in a shooting attack that targeted the Shuafat military checkpoint in occupied Al-Quds.

The Israeli media outlets detailed that a speeding car approached the Shuafat camp checkpoint the passengers opened fire at the soldiers stationed at the place, wounding two Israeli soldiers and killing one. 

Since the beginning of 2022, the Israeli occupation has killed more than 100 Palestinians in the West Bank alone according to the United Nations, Just last week, four Palestinians were killed, among whom was a 14-year-old boy.
