Kanaani to Al Mayadeen: World is witnessing a Palestinian genocide
The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Nasser Kanaani says that the US should make sure "Israel" is aware that any further aggression on the Gaza Strip will face one of the pending options on the table.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Nasser Kanaani, in an interview with Al Mayadeen, noted that the genocide of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip is being broadcast live on television in an attempt by the Israeli occupation to cover up the "great and strategic defeat" suffered as a result of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, carried out by al-Qassam Brigades, earlier on October 7th.
Kanaani said, “We are witnessing an unequal war against the Palestinian people in Gaza, and this measure contains a lot of criminality and contradicts all international laws,” adding, "All those who follow Israeli affairs say that the Zionist entity, after October 7 is not what it was before."
Pointing at what lies beneath the iceberg, Kannani told Al Mayadeen that "the Zionist entity has a problem with the Palestinian identity, not with Hamas," adding that "the Resistance in the region has a unified identity."
“The #Americans, on behalf of the Zionists, seek to prevent the war from expanding and preventing any other party from deploying. The hands of the resistance are outstretched and will not stand idly by; there will be a preventive reaction.”

"The Americans, on behalf of the Zionists, seek to prevent the war from expanding, and to prevent any party supporting them [Palestinians] from taking action," but the Resistance's hands are outstretched, and the axis of Resistance will not stand idly by, and there will be a preemptive measures, explaining that "the axis of Resistance is not limited to a special front, and the Zionists must not rule out any scenarios."
The spokesperson also emphasized that Americans are responsible for the human rights violations committed by the Israeli occupation as they support "Tel Aviv" as it crosses the red lines set by the Resistance.
"الأميركيون نيابة عن الصهاينة يسعون إلى عدم اتساع رقعة الحرب ومنع أي طرف داعم لهم من التحرك. وأيدي المقاومة مبسوطة ولن تقف مكتوفة وسوف تكون هناك ردة فعل وقائية"

Crossing red lines include "the displacement of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip," which "violates international laws", according to Kanaani, meant that a "serious response" would follow.
The Resistance has "informed the countries of the region of the necessity of taking a collective decision," Kanaani said, reaffirming that "Americans do not have the right to force others to remain silent while they support one party against another."
The spokesperson also emphasized that the "Resistance has a great ability to continue its operations and Resist for long periods [of time]," adding that "the Resistance confirmed that it will release non-military prisoners, but in light of the ongoing aggression, there is no possibility of taking this step.
As for the diplomatic efforts, "We do not have any direct or indirect contact with the Americans regarding the current situation," however, the spokesperson noted that "There are messages from the Americans stressing the necessity of not expanding the war in the region."
"We do not support the expansion of the war, and the Zionists must realize the seriousness of the situation and that they are responsible for whether the war stops or expands," Kanaani said.
Iran's FM: Preemptive measures against 'Israel' are envisaged
Preemptive measures against "Israel" are possible in the coming hours, Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian told the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) in an interview.
Iran's top diplomat spoke to IRNA after meeting with several regional and international officials, including Hezbollah's Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.
Amir-Abdollahian emphasized that "Israel" is running out of time regarding its continued attacks on the Gaza Strip, adding that "Netanyahu must be stopped."
In the broadcast interview, the Iranian Foreign Minister said that there is a consensus among Resistance leaders that if a political solution was possible they would consider "an opportunity to do so," emphasizing that if "Israel" continues to commit crimes against civilians, any action is envisaged, IRNA reported
"Today, in a conversation with some foreign ministers of Islamic countries, we concluded that if the limited opportunities available to the United Nations are not used, the possibility of opening new fronts against the regime ("Israel") is inevitable."
He also pointed to the growing capabilities of the Axis of Resistance, saying that the Israeli government chose to deal with this reality in the worst way possible, that is, the genocide of children and women.
The diplomat compared the ten-day-long aggression on the Gaza Strip and the 20-month-long conflict in Ukraine, highlighting that 740 children have been martyred in Gaza while 593 were killed in Ukraine.
