The long-range multi-purpose one-way assault Samad 4 drones have entered the battlefield, a senior military source to Al Mayadeen, shortly after the UAV force of the Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) struck military targets in occupied Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat) with four of these drones and hit their targets precisely, according to the YAF spokesperson.

The source pointed out that the Samad 4 drone is equipped with a payload of explosives designed for strategic targets, emphasizing that the drone has a range of over 2,000 kilometers and possesses advanced stealth capabilities to evade air defenses, including those of "Israel".

According to the source, the drone is part of the Samad system designed for multiple targets, and it will continue to carry out its missions in future operations.

The development of Yemen's drone program is ongoing and progressing rapidly and has reached highly advanced stages in both quantity and quality, the senior source asserted.

"Yemen will not abandon Palestine and Lebanon, and the Axis of Resistance today is cohesive and powerful," the source told Al Mayadeen.

The latest revelation adds to the list of the YAF's advanced drone capabilities also represented by the locally-manufactured Yafa drone, which was used to target occupied Yafa (Tel Aviv) on July 19, achieving a direct hit, killing an Israeli settler and injuring several others.

Yemeni A-ns-ar Allah leader Sayyed Abdul-Ma-li-k al-H-ou-thi introduced on July 21 the Yafa drone, describing it as "an advanced UAV with significant tactical and technical capabilities, long-range, and superior destructive power."

The Yemeni Military Media highlighted that the homegrown Yafa aircraft is a long-range, multi-purpose drone equipped with a highly explosive warhead and systems that evade radar and air defenses.

Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, the leader of the Yemeni Ansar Allah movement, described the Yafa drone as "an advanced UAV with significant tactical and technical capabilities, long-range, and superior destructive power."

He pointed out that "the deployment of this drone deep into Israeli territory marked a new and important development, causing considerable distress to Israel and establishing a precedent of external threats."

The Yemeni leader affirmed that the Yafa drone was manufactured in Yemen and was launched by the YAF, denying claims that it was produced and deployed by another party.
