Netanyahu says war to last for months, will not resign
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claims that the Israeli occupation will continue in its war on Gaza for months as he vows to protect northern settlers.
The Israeli occupation is engaged in "fighting on all fronts" in a war that is slated to last for months, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Saturday in a speech full of blatantly false claims as the Israeli invasion of Gaza continues for its 65th day.
According to Netanyahu, the invasion will continue until all the goals of the Israeli occupation forces' onslaught are achieved, which he said include the complete destruction of the Hamas Resistance movement and the return of all Israeli captives taken by the Resistance on October 7.
More time is needed to "win", he claimed, vowing that Gaza would "not be a threat to Israel" and that the Resistance factions there would be eradicated.
As he thanked the United States for standing against international pressure in the UN to end the aggression, he claimed that close to 8,000 Resistance fighters were killed: a claim that could be debunked by simply looking at Gaza's demographic and the death toll of the Israeli onslaught.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health has reported that 21,672 people have been killed, more than 70% of whom are women and children. Netanyahu's alleged figures fall flat on their face amid the indiscriminate bombing sanctioned by his government.
Thousands of infants killed
A December 9 report by the Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor shows that "Israel" has killed more than ten thousand children and infants since the onset of aggression against the Gaza Strip on the seventh of October.
The Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor reported that the total death toll in the Israeli airstrikes and intensive artillery attacks has exceeded 23,012, including 9,077 children and infants, according to preliminary statistics.
Netanyahu further claimed that the military capabilities of the Hamas Resistance movement are being "destroyed step by step" even though the death toll of his soldiers has been on a constant incline since the start of the invasion of Gaza, and their losses have been mounting since the beginning of the aggression.
Answering a question regarding his resignation, amid repeated calls for him to leave office, Netanyahu said "The only thing I’m going to resign from is Hamas. That’s what I’m dealing with."
Cabinet committed to North's security
The Israeli premier also alleged that he was committed to the security of the Israeli occupation, at a time when "Israel's" northern settlements have been rendered near-void of settlers altogether as they flee operations by the Lebanese Resistance and the other Resistance factions that seek to mitigate the pressure on the Palestinian Resistance in Gaza and retaliate against the killing of innocent civilians within its blockaded borders.
He said his commitment to the security of the North is aimed at bringing the settlers of the North back to their settlements amid the constant Resistance operations taking place.
"If Hezbollah widens the fighting, it will absorb strikes it never dreamed of. And so, too, Iran," he added. "We will fight by all means until we have restored security for the residents of the north."
Still on the topic of Iran, Netanyahu accused it of "leading" what he called "the axis of evil" for its support of the Resistance and liberation movements in the region, which are attacking the Israeli occupation "on the various fronts," as he said.
The number of Israelis that evacuated northern occupied Palestine as a result of Hezbollah's operations has exceeded a staggering 230,000 settlers, The Wall Street Journal reported on Saturday.
Israeli media reported earlier this week that fears are mounting among settlers in northern occupied Palestine as the Resistance in Lebanon continues to carry out daily operations with no signs that it is deterred by any actions the occupation army is taking.
Netanyahu, at the conclusion of his speech, vowed to "do everything, but everything, to prevent Iran from attaining nuclear weapons."
