PA presidency condemns Israeli settler terrorism in West Bank
Nabil Abu Rudeineh reiterates the Palestinian people's right to their lands, accusing the US and "Israel" of destabilizing the region.
The Palestinian Presidency condemned the settler attack on the homes of Palestinians in the West Bank town of Beit Furik, in which illegal settlers burned three vehicles and a house.
Nabil Abu Rudeineh, the presidency's spokesperson, issued a statement denouncing the escalation of settler terrorism against the Palestinian people and land, the latest of which occurred in the village of Beit Furik east of Nablus, where homes were attacked and agricultural rooms were burned.
The statement further indicated that the violence on the West Bank comes as the ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip continues, along with the aggression on the West Bank refugee camps, and called for an international stance to stop the aggression on Gaza first.
"It is not enough to rely on policies of condemnation and denunciation, which have become ineffective, in order to prevent the destruction of the region due to this Israeli criminality."
Abu Rudeineh held the United States fully responsible for "Israel's" continued defiance of international legitimacy, due to its financial, military, and political support. He reiterated the Palestinian people's steadfastness in holding on to their land, rights, and holy sites, stressing that the "ongoing Israeli terrorism by the occupation army and settlers, alongside US support, will not bring security or stability to the region."

In 1 week, IOF demolish 7 homes, community center in Silwan
Settler violence in the West Bank coincides with the ongoing aggression and raids that target several camps and towns during the late hours of the day, as well as expansionist efforts the occupation is executing by unlawfully demolishing Palestinian homes and forcibly displacing the families that reside in them.
Within the span of a week, the Israeli occupation demolished seven housing units and a community center in the town of Silwan in occupied al-Quds, evicting 30 Palestinians from them, according to a report by Haaretz.
The Israeli newspaper revealed, quoting the Ir Amim Association, that "the demolition of the homes in occupied al-Quds aims to demolish the entire al-Bustan neighborhood," thus displacing 1,500 of its residents.
The Israeli occupation authorities have also announced plans to demolish dozens of homes in the al-Bustan neighborhood "as part of preparations to establish a biblical park in the area."
According to a report from the al-Quds Governorate, the occupation carried out 15 demolition and bulldozing operations in occupied al-Quds during October, bringing the total number of demolitions to 355 between October 7, 2023, and October 31, 2024.
