Palestinian Resistance fighters are confronting Israeli occupation forces' incursion in the Jenin governorate, in the northern West Bank, which was launched during the early hours of Tuesday.

The al-Quds Brigades - Jenin Brigade announced that it targeted the occupation forces at the al-Awda roundabout axis in the Jenin camp in the West Bank, at dawn today, Tuesday, with a highly explosive device.

Confrontations broke out between the Resistance fighters and the occupation forces between the town of Qabatiya and the village of Mothalath ash-Shuhada, south of Jenin, after they surrounded a house in the village, bombed it with Energa shells, and demanded those inside turn themselves in.

The al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades said its fighters are confronting Israeli occupation forces on several axes, along the outskirts of the Jenin refugee camp.

Resistance fighters detonated improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and fired their weapons at Israeli occupation forces, dealing confirmed hits.

Moreover, Palestinian Resistance fighters detonated several IEDs, placed in the refugee camp's center at a previous time in preparation for Israeli incursions. The IEDs targeted Israeli military-grade bulldozers in the area.

Confrontations have been ongoing since at least 1:43 am (local time), according to the first operation announced by Palestinian Resistance fighters in the refugee camp.

The occupation forces continue their incursion into the city of Jenin and its camp since last night accompanied by a large number of military vehicles. They were deployed in several neighborhoods and at the entrance to the camp and raided and searched a number of homes, while the occupation bulldozers razed several main streets and infrastructure in the city, amid violent confrontations around the camp.

In Qalqilya, Israeli occupation forces arrested a Palestinian youth after raiding and searching his house.

They also stormed the town of Azzun, east of the city, and unleashed their vehicles in its streets, randomly firing sound and gas bombs.

They stormed the village of Marah Rabah, south of Beit Lahm, and raided and searched a number of homes, then withdrew without any arrests made.

Meanwhile, in eastern Nablus, the occupation forces stormed the village of Salem at dawn on Tuesday and raided a number of homes there, searched them, and tampered with their contents, with no arrests reported.

Palestinians in the West Bank continue to defend their homes and towns against Israeli aggression, using any available means to do so. It is worth noting that the occupied territory endures a dual threat: the oppressive actions of Israeli occupation forces and the escalating violence of Israeli settler terrorism, which have only intensified since the Israeli regime launched its war on the Gaza Strip.
