Large forces of the Israeli occupation army carried out a wide-scale raid on the eastern part of Nablus, in the northern West Bank, at dawn on Tuesday. The raid was launched to secure the entry of settler groups to Joseph's Tomb under strict military protection.
Dozens of military vehicles stormed the area from multiple directions, including the Hawara, Awarta, and Beit Furik checkpoints. Occupation forces fired tear gas and sound grenades heavily to disperse residents and clear the path for the settlers performing Talmudic rituals inside the shrine.

Violent confrontations broke out between Palestinian youths and occupation forces near Joseph’s Tomb during the incursion. The confrontations were met with intensified use of tear gas and rubber-coated bullets.
The Palestinian Red Crescent reported several injuries, including cases of suffocation from toxic gas, burns, and falls from high-altitude areas. Among the injured was a 60-year-old man. All those injured were transported to hospitals for treatment.
Raids in Balata, al-Khalil, and other towns

Israeli media reported that a Molotov cocktail was thrown at a settler bus near the Beit Kahil Bridge, northwest of al-Khalil, with no injuries reported. Elsewhere in the occupied West Bank, occupation forces stormed the town of Silwad, northeast of Ramallah, and raided several homes.
A separate arrest campaign was launched in the town of Barta'a, north of Jenin Governorate, as Israeli troops intensified security measures in the area. The heightened activity comes amid growing tension across the occupied territories following repeated military raids and settler incursions.
Two killed by Israeli strike on farm near Jenin
In a related event, at least two people were killed after Israeli forces struck an agricultural shed near the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin, in the northern West Bank, on Monday.
The Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed the death of 33-year-old Youssef al-Amer, while the Palestinian Red Crescent said it had recovered the body of an unidentified victim. Witnesses reported seeing an Israeli military bulldozer removing another body, as Israeli media sources claimed the strike killed three people.
Locals discovered human remains in the agricultural shed that Israeli forces had demolished, first shelling it, then setting it ablaze while surrounding the young men trapped inside, after Palestinian fighters engaged an Israeli special operations unit that had raided the town.
Israeli forces fired shells at the agricultural shed, completely burning it down, before a military bulldozer demolished what remained. Following the assault, the troops withdrew entirely from Qabatiya.
