PIJ: "Israel" stalling execution armistice terms
A member of the Political Bureau of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) says that it is impossible to separate the violent attack on Gaza from the enemy's electoral political climate.
Member of the Political Bureau of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), Mohammed al-Hindi, said that "the occupation's reluctance to respond to the terms of the recent ceasefire, which is to work for the release of the two prisoners, Khalil Awawdeh and Bassam Al-Saadi, reveals the enemy's stalling nature, and puts the Egyptian mediator before his obligations."
Al-Hindi explained that "the overnight aggression against Gaza cannot be put in a context separate from the enemy's electoral political scene," adding that "the enemy's attempt to deceive, mislead and incite against Saraya Al-Quds was exposed after it was forced to admit that the five children were targeted in the Al-Faluja cemetery."
It is worth noting that Israeli media reported, on Tuesday, that the five children who were martyred on the last day of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip were hit by the IOF, and not by PIJ fire as the occupation claimed.
Al-Hindi also said that "The enemy's attempt to single out the PIJ is an open attempt that calls for more unity throughout the Palestinian resistance forces, unity of its word, and unity of action on the battlefield."
The ceasefire in the Gaza Strip came into effect on August 7, days after the Israeli aggression, for which the PIJ responded by launching rockets toward the occupied Palestinian lands.
Al-Hindi further argued that "the formula for the Egyptian declaration of the truce agreement was reached, on terms of Egypt's commitment to work for the release of the two prisoners, Al-Saadi and Awawdeh."
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the Israeli aggression resulted in the death of 48 Palestinians, including 17 children, as well as the injury of 360 others.
Al-Hindi stressed that the masses that marched in Gaza to bid farewell to the martyrs of the battle of Unity of the Battlefield, PIJ leaders Khaled Mansour and Tayseer Al-Jabari, as well as the masses in Nablus that bid PIJ Nabulsi martyr Ibrahim al-Nabulsi farewell, is a message to all, and a popular referendum on the Palestinian people's rallying around the choice of armed resistance.
