Explosions in Lvov

In a related context, Ukrainian media alleged that three explosions were heard Friday morning in the city of Lvov, western Ukraine.

Ukraine 24 TV claimed that the explosions were heard in the morning in most parts of the city.

Lvov Mayor Andriy Sadovy reported that the city's airport was targeted with missile strikes.

On his Telegram channel, Sadovy claimed Russian missiles targeted the Lvov airport and an aircraft maintenance factory in the city, destroying the entire building with no casualties reported.

A few days ago, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported targeting the training ground in Lvov, as the Ministry's Spokesperson Maria Zakharova underlined that the targeting was a warning to mercenaries who want to fight in Ukraine.
