The Minister of Information in the Sanaa government, Daifallah al-Shami warned the United States and the Israeli occupation from carrying on their escalating aggression on occupied Palestine, demanding that the international community try American and Israeli officials for their involvement in massacres and genocide in Palestine.

Al-Shami issued the warning, as part of a statement representing thousands of protestors who took to the streets in Sanaa, Yemen, that he read out at the popular demonstration.

Demonstrators said that Yemenis will continue to support Palestinians, until they achieve full freedom and independence, according to the statement.

The minister condemned a previous statement made by G7 nations, who warned against further escalation in the region, calling on the Yemeni Resistance movement, Ansar Allah, to halt its naval operations.

Yemeni Armed Forces ready to escalate

Earlier on Thursday, the Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) reiterated its readiness to resume its operations against the Israeli occupation, knowing that the latter would probably renew its aggression on the Gaza Strip, which it did.

The spokesperson for the YAF, Brigadier General Yahya al-Saree said that Yemen's military will not hesitate to expand the scope of its confrontation against the Israeli occupation "to encompass targets ("Israel") does not anticipate, on land and in the sea."

The statement confirmed that the Yemeni Armed Forces will cease their attacks on Israeli targets once "Israel" ends its aggression on the Gaza Strip. Israeli-owned vessels will not be allowed to sail in and out of the Red Sea, the Yemeni military confirmed.

The YAF said that its actions come in line with the guidelines set by Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, Ansar Allah's leader, and the demands of the Yemeni people and the free people of the Arab and Islamic Ummahs, to support the Palestinian people and their Resistance.

In a broader lens, "Israel" is faced with the inevitable possibility of the renewal of operations and attacks on its assets in the region. The Axis of Resistance, via factions in Lebanon, Iraq, and Yemen, have successfully and relentlessly launched attacks on Israeli targets, in a show of solidarity with Palestine. Although the region saw relative quiet for the past 7 days, Resistance groups are expected to escalate actions against the Israeli occupation, which is yet to admit to its resounding defeat on October 7 this year.
