The Saudi-led coalition launches airstrikes against residential areas in Sanaa
Saudi-led coalition forces damaged last night on Saturday residential areas in the Yemeni capital of Sanaa, driving most residents of the targeted Al-Liby neighborhood to flee their homes, which were greatly damaged. Saudi forces had been targeting the headquarters of the flight and air defense school, west of Sanaa.
This comes a mere day after Saudi forces killed three people, including a woman and child, and injured seven, including three children and a woman in an airstrike on Al Mahwit Province while claiming to have targeted a ballistic missile and drone depot.
For their part, Yemeni armed forces were able to regain control of Al-Khanjar military camp, the last of the Hadi forces and Saudi coalition's camp in Al-Jawf Province, a mere two days after liberating the strategic area of Al-Yatamah.
According to Al Mayadeen's field sources, the army and popular committees' large-scale military operation at the border of the Rub' Al-Khali Desert between Saudi Arabia and Yemen were successful, and resulted in the capture of many soldiers.
