Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian also held a meeting with Lebanon's caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati, during which he affirmed Iran's unwavering support for Lebanon's security and stability.

In response, Mikati acknowledged the complexity of the regional situation and emphasized the need to persist in efforts for a ceasefire in Gaza. He further reiterated that Lebanon seeks peace and stability in the region.
