Israeli media suggested that "Israel's" internal front is not ready for war, as its northern illegal settlements lack thousands of shelters, highlighting that 2.5 million Israeli settlers live without protection.
The Israeli newspaper Maariv reported that in light of the increasing tensions with Hezbollah on the Lebanese borders, the Ometz Movement warned that the Israeli internal front is not prepared for war, and the northern illegal Israeli settlements lack more than 10,000 shelters.
The newspaper pointed out that in 2018, the Israeli occupation government decided to allocate five billion shekels to protect "Israel's" internal front over a period of ten years. However, according to the Ometz Movement, the plan is being implemented lazily, and in 2023, the government decided to reduce the budget from half a billion to only one hundred million shekels.
The Ometz Movement warned that "security is not limited to deterring the enemy only, but also includes the internal front, which is at the heart of every war in the twenty-first century."
It also held Israeli occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Security Minister Yoav Gallant responsible for making sure that Israeli settlers would not pay a heavy and painful price, stressing that the Israeli government should provide real security for everyone who is in the missile range.
In a related context, former chief of Israeli intelligence, Amos Yadlin, indicated that the main concern and the greatest military threat to "Israel" is Hezbollah.
In an interview for the Israeli Channel 12, Yadlin claimed that Iran gave Hezbollah three factors of force that did not exist in 2006, which are precision missiles, air defense, and Al-Radwan forces that are supposed to take control of Al-Jaleel region.
It is noteworthy that on an almost daily basis, Israeli media touch on this matter.
On Thursday, Israeli media warned that Hezbollah is preparing "surprises" for the occupation entity leaving the occupation entity in a state of high alert amid uncertainty about the Resistance group's plans to confront continued Israeli aggressions.
The current situation on the Palestinian-Lebanese border "reminds us of the atmosphere that prevailed before the Yom Kippur War" (October 1973 war), said Brigadier General Uri Agmon of the "Commanders for Israel's Security" organization.
"Israel" Hayom newspaper reported earlier that the occupation army "is preparing for the possibility of an escalation on the border with Lebanon" and has placed a set of expected scenarios.
In addition, military commentator on the Israeli Channel 13, Alon Ben David, said that footage showing a number of Hezbollah fighters walking near the Lebanese-Palestinian border raises tension and reminds of the year 2006 on the eve of the kidnapping of two Israeli occupation soldiers.

It is worth noting that on the occasion of the Resistance and Liberation Day, Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah warned that any Israeli blunder in the region could snowball into an all-out war, confirming that "the outstanding human capacity in the Axis of Resistance is met by the decline in Israeli manpower and [a state of] utmost fear of engaging in any fight."
