Solidarity stand with Al Mayadeen: Pro-Resistance media beating heart
Journalists, party leaders, and activists have participated in a solidarity stand with Al Mayadeen in its headquarters in Beirut after the Israeli occupation banned the network in occupied Palestine.
Members of the media, activists, and party leaders gathered at Al Mayadeen's head office to express solidarity with the network, following the Israeli war cabinet's decision to suspend its operations in occupied Palestine.
The Insitute of International Studies and the Resistance Media organized the event which took place at Al Mayadeen's headquarters in Beirut. Notable individuals gathered at the headquarters emphasized the crucial role of Al Mayadeen in exposing the Israeli occupation's crimes, stating that the decision to ban its activities was a badge of honor that the channel would add to its résumé.

The representative of the Lebanese Minister of Information, Mesbah al-Ali, stated in his address, "The occupation aimed at suppressing the indisputable truth that Israel initiated the aggression [on the Gaza Strip]."
"Israel aimed to conceal its massacres and atrocities from the world by banning Al Mayadeen," al-Ali stated, pointing to the fact that solidarity with the news outlet aids the proliferation of factual content and prevents the distortion of the truth.
He affirmed, "Al Mayadeen will continue to shine despite the [ill-intentioned] will of the Israeli occupation."

Abdul Hadi Mahfouz, the head of the National Audiovisual Council of Lebanon, expressed the council's solidarity with Al Mayadeen, praising its "objective and sincere" work.
Mahfouz noted that global public opinion no longer adopts Israeli narratives, attributing this shift to the role of righteous media outlets, social media platforms, and worldwide demonstrations.
The head of the council took a special interest in "Israel's" targeting of journalists, stating, "Just as Israel kills Palestinians, it targets journalists with censorship, as those who witness the truth, according to [the] view [of Israeli authorities], are considered terrorists and should be canceled."

The head of the International Union of Resistance Scholars, Sheikh Maher Hammoud, also spoke at the event, emphasizing that "everyone trusts Al Mayadeen's [message] because it speaks only the truth."

Hezbollah official, Ghaleb Abu Zeinab, expressed the Lebanese Resistance party's pride in Al Mayadeen, describing it as the "beating heart of the Resistance."
Abu Zeinab said, "Al Mayadeen hurt the occupation with its objective coverage, and it is not surprising that those who kill children and civilians would try to silence Al Mayadeen."
He emphasized, "Al Mayadeen is the channel of Palestine, always advocating for marginalized people and humanity around the world."

Nasser Qandil, the editor-in-chief of al-Binaa newspaper, expressed his gratitude to Al Mayadeen, stating that it is the "channel of all Resistance." He noted that "for Al Mayadeen, resistance is a choice, not just mere news reporting, and the channel was established for the sake of Palestine, not just to stand with Palestine."
Qandil thanked Al Mayadeen for providing individuals and organizations with a platform capable of standing in the face of the Israeli occupation.
The former Lebanese member of parliament Beshara Merhej highlighted the network's consistent stance in support of the Palestinian cause, despite the Western attempts to silence it.
The leader of the Sarkhat Watan movement, Jad Thebian, said Al Mayadeen's message is one that many sides repeatedly try to "bury in [regional] summits and the summits of the United Nations Security Council."
On his part, the head of the Actors Syndicate in Lebanon, Nehmat Badaoui, said Al Mayadeen played a crucial role in changing global public opinion, by airing footage that exposes the occupation's crimes.

Journalists from all over the Arab World spoke in solidarity with the news outlet, as Yemeni journalist Ali Hafer highlighted Al Mayadeen's consistent coverage of the US-Saudi-led war on Yemen for nine years.
The Iraqi journalist, Haidar al-Barazanji, paid tribute to Al Mayadeen, saying, "A salute of respect and admiration to Al Mayadeen, which will remain in all arenas with an everlasting voice regardless of the challenges it faces."
From Palestine, Marwan Abul Aal saluted Al Mayadeen and all staffers who work for media outlets allied with the Resistance.
Egyptian journalist Amro Nassef emphasized that "Al Mayadeen refused to be and cannot be a silent devil," such as other media outlets that have not objectively covered the Israeli aggression on Gaza.
Bahraini journalist Ibrahim al-Madhoon conveyed greetings from Bahrain and the Gulf to Al Mayadeen and its staff.

Mahfouz Mnawwar, an official in the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, stated, "Al Mayadeen was not just a voice but the truth itself."
The National Media Forum also participated in the event and its representative Ramzi Abdul Haq spoke in support of the media outlet. The International Association of Experts also participated in the proceedings in a separate solidarity stand it held with Al Mayadeen in Beirut.
On his part, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Mayadeen Media Network Ghassan ben Jeddou concluded the stand with a speech in which he directly addressed the Israeli occupation, saying that the step of silencing Al Mayadeen came out too late and that the decision to ban the network was made "because we are influential."

Al Mayadeen's correspondents from various sites thanked those standing in solidarity with the channel, affirming their steadfastness in the field despite the imminent dangers that they face.
