Dozens of Palestinians are protesting for the ninth day in a row in response to the call of the "Revolutionary Youth," who have begun gathering in the eastern Gaza Strip, preparing to light rubber tires in defiance of the occupation, in support of Al-Aqsa and to condemn settlers' incursions into its courtyards, and in support of the prisoners.

Local Palestinian media reported that three young men were injured in the leg area in the Malka refugee camp area, noting that the occupation forces fired tear gas canisters at the young demonstrators, some of whom suffocated.

Young men set fire to rubber tires in the Malka area, east of the city of Rafah, in an attempt to block the view of the occupation soldiers to prevent the targeting of peaceful demonstrators.

For its part, Israeli media said that Palestinian youths launched dozens of "incendiary balloons" towards the settlements surrounding the Gaza Strip. Meanwhile, Israeli sources reported that "an Israeli military jeep was directly hit by a bullet fired from the eastern Gaza Strip."

The Israeli Army Radio claimed that "dozens of Palestinians are using explosive devices and trying to damage the security fence east of Gaza." Other Israeli sources also indicated that a fire broke out in the forests of the so-called "Netiv Haasara" area in the northern Gaza Strip, caused by an incendiary balloon launched from Gaza.

Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported on Friday that the occupation forces fired gas bombs and live bullets in the direction of the Palestinian demonstrators, while confrontations took place at the fence in the eastern Gaza Strip. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the number of infections had risen to 31 due to Israeli occupation attacks in the eastern parts of the Gaza Strip.

In a related context, the occupation forces suppressed Palestinian activity against Israeli settlements near the village of Karma, south of the city of al-Khalil.

The occupation forces also stormed the Ras Khamis area, Shuafat Camp in Occupied al-Quds.

Earlier today, Palestinians planned a naval march, which coincided with a protest at the Gaza port, to demand that the Gaza Strip's siege be lifted.
