Two rockets fired from Lebanon toward north 'Israel': Israeli media
Israel Katz has threatened Lebanon's capital Beirut once again, as Israeli shelling of South Lebanon continues unstopped.

The spokesperson for the Israeli military claimed on Friday two rocket launches coming from Lebanon, adding that one was intercepted, while the other fell in Lebanese lands.
This comes after sirens sounded in several settlements in the occupied north, particularly Kiryat Shmona, Margaliot, and Tel Hai. Israeli media also reported two explosions in Kiryat Shmona.
Security Minister Israel Katz, commenting on the incident, said that Lebanon's capital, Beirut, was the equivalent of Kiryat Shmona, threatening action against the city. "If there is no calm in Kiryat Shmona and Galilee's settlements, then there will be no calm in Beirut," he claimed.
Katz also said the Lebanese government bears direct responsibility for every fire launched toward al-Jalil, saying, "We will not allow the return of the reality of October 7, we will guarantee the security of Galilee's residents, and we will work against every threat."
In turn, David Azulai, the mayor of Metulla, said this "is exactly what we fear. It has been the same as in the South for 23 years. We will not allow this, and will not agree to this. The Israeli government must announce the annulment of Resolution 1701 starting today."
'Israel' continues bombarding Lebanon
Meanwhile, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that Israeli shelling targeted the outskirts of Kfarsir and Qaaqaiyat al-Jisr.
In al-Khiam, Israeli shelling was reported, as well as phosphorus attacks in the village's eastern area.
A similar incident was reported on Saturday, whereby five rockets were launched from Lebanon toward northern Israeli-occupied Palestine. Hezbollah denied any involvement, affirming that the Israeli allegations came to allow the occupation's resumption of its attacks on Lebanon, which have not ceased since the announcement of the ceasefire in November 2024.
On Thursday, an Israeli drone attack killed two Lebanese citizens after targeting their vehicle in the town of Bara'achit, southern Lebanon, according to the Ministry of Health.
This brings the total number of people killed by the Israeli army since the ceasefire in Lebanon to 106, with 300 others injured, as "Israel" continues to violate the ceasefire nearly every day, carrying out strikes and attacks across various parts of Lebanon.
More recently, three people were killed on Thursday morning in Yohmor al-Shaqif, southern Lebanon, when an Israeli drone targeted a car, coinciding with artillery shelling on the town, while at dawn, one person was killed in Maaroub, southern Lebanon, after an Israeli drone airstrike targeted his vehicle.
