US bases in Iraq and Syria attacked 6 times so far today
In support of the Palestinian people and their Resistance, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq continues to target US bases in Iraq and Syria, scoring six operations today.
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq said its fighters targeted the US' al-Shadadi occupation base in Syria with a salvo of rockets, vowing to continue to target the enemy's strongholds "in response to the Zionist entity’s massacres against our people in Gaza."
Earlier today, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported artillery shelling targeting bases affiliated with US occupation forces in Rmelan, al-Shadadi, and Malikia in Syria on Tuesday.
It is worth noting that the Rmelan base is considered the most critical US occupation's outpost in Syria. It is situated southeast of the city in the countryside of al-Hasakah Governorate, with approximately 500 personnel.
Meanwhile, Al-Shadadi base is located southeast of the oil-rich city, equipped for helicopter landings and the takeoff of various types of drones, housing around 350 personnel. As for the Malikia base, also known as 'Rmelan 2,' it is situated south of the city in the northern countryside of al-Hasakah, with 150 personnel and combat helicopters. Additionally, it includes a detention facility operated by US occupation forces.
Non-stop operations in solidarity with Palestine
The aforementioned attacks came shortly after two previous attacks today that the Islamic Resistance in Iraq claimed. The first attack targeted the US occupation base in the Green Village deep within Syrian territories, which the Iraqi Resistance assumed responsibility for, and the second targeted a US base close to Arbil airport, in Iraqi Kurdistan.
Concurrently, the Iraqi Resistance declared targeting the US occupation base in Syria's Conoco gas field with a rocket barrage, in response to the ongoing brutal Israeli war on the people in Gaza.
In a statement, the group confirmed a direct hit to the military base, reiterating its commitment to carrying out strikes "against enemy strongholds."
In the past week, the Islamic Resistance announced carrying out several separate operations against US occupation bases, including the al-Shaddadi, Kharab Al-Jir, and Conoco bases in Syria.
Iraqi Resistance hits Israeli military targets in occupied Golan
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced that it hit an Israeli military target in the occupied Golan Heights on Sunday evening.
In support of the Palestinian people, the Resistance launched an attack on Israeli military targets located in Israeli-occupied Syrian Golan Heights. Moreover, in the statement, the Iraqi Resistance confirmed that it would continue to target occupation targets.
A couple of hours prior to the announcement, sirens went off in the Israeli settlements of "Keshet" and "Katzrin", located nearly 300 km away from the nearest point in Iraqi territories.
The big picture
Iraqi Resistance fighters and the Yemeni Armed Forces have worked relentlessly to target Israeli sites located hundreds of kilometers away from launching points. These factions have done so in support of Palestinian people who have been subjected to an unprecedented brutal aggression that has killed nearly 22,000 Palestinians in less than 90 days.
Although the Yemeni Armed Forces focused on targeting Israeli positions in the southernmost occupation city of "Eilat", they have recently switched to targets in the northernmost occupied territories. Concurrently, Iraqi Resistance forces have also targeted United States military bases and assets in Iraq and Syria, citing the US's active and unwavering support for the Israeli occupation's aggression on the Gaza Strip.
