US-UK carry out an airstrike on Rass Issa in Hodeidah, Yemen
The American-British coalition has not ceased aggression on Yemen for its support of Gaza and Palestine.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Yemen reported that the US-UK coalition aircraft carried out an airstrike, on Saturday, against the city of Rass Issa in the Hodeidah Governate.
The American-British aggression came several hours after Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree announced the targeting of the British oil tanker “POLLUX” in the Red Sea, directly hitting it with a large number of appropriate naval missiles.
Brigadier General Saree confirmed that these operations were in support of the Palestinian people and within the scope of response to the US-British aggression.
He further stressed that the YAF will continue to stop all forms of navigation heading to the ports of occupied Palestine in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea until the Israeli aggression stops and the siege on the Palestinian people in Gaza is lifted.
Saree emphasized that the Yemeni Armed Forces will not hesitate to implement and expand their military operations in defense of Yemen and in solidarity with Palestine.
Nine attacks in a day
On Wednesday, US-UK airstrikes targeted the southern part of the al-Jah Triangle in the district of Beit al-Faqih, which is south of Hodeidah Governorate in western Yemen.
Our correspondent indicated an increase in the number of US-UK coalition airstrikes on Hodeidah to eight since noon today. The earlier aggression targeted the Ras Issa area in the al-Salif district, northwest of the province, with three airstrikes, and the al-Jabana area north of the coastal city on the Red Sea in western Yemen with three similar airstrikes.
This comes as part of the ongoing aggression against Yemen by the US and UK coalition which also targeted Yemen twice on Tuesday. However, in Yemen, both people and leadership vowed to continue to support the Palestinian Resistance in the Gaza Strip until the end.
