'Israel' kills two Palestinian detainees as genocide intensifies
The Israeli aggression on Gaza claims the lives of more civilians, including two detainees abducted by the Israeli occupation forces from the blockaded strip.
Palestinian institutions concerned with detainee affairs announced on Sunday the martyrdom of two prisoners from Gaza detained in Israeli prisons, bringing the toll of martyrs among Palestinian prisoners since the war began to 47.
According to the Palestinian Prisoners’ Affairs Authority, the Palestinian Prisoners Club, and the Al-Dameer Association for Prisoner Care and Human Rights, the two martyrs are Mohammad Abdel Rahman Hweshel Idris, 35, and Moath Khaled Mohammad Rayan, 31.
Idris, who was detained in Ofer prison, was reported martyred on November 29, while Rayan was confirmed martyred on November 2, although the Israeli authorities withheld details on the location of his martyrdom.
The family of Idris stated he had no health issues before his disappearance on August 25, while Rayan had been paralyzed before his detention on October 21.
Israeli aggression on Gaza
Meanwhile, Israeli aggression on Gaza continues to escalate, with widespread destruction and significant loss of life reported on Sunday.
An Al Mayadeen correspondent reported that over ten people were martyred, and others remain missing after Israeli forces destroyed the Lubbad family home in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza. Additionally, Israeli military vehicles opened fire east of Jabalia refugee camp.
In Gaza City, Israeli airstrikes claimed the lives of five individuals and injured others in an attack near Thai Square on Revolution Street. Three others were martyred in a separate drone strike on the same street.
Further casualties were reported in an airstrike targeting a home at the al-Ghafari junction on al-Jalaa Street.
In central Gaza, Israeli forces shelled homes east of al-Maghazi and Deir al-Balah with artillery and heavy gunfire. In Rafah, southern Gaza, residential buildings near Awad Tower were demolished by Israeli forces.
These victims add to the 24 martyrs killed earlier in the day by Israeli airstrikes across multiple areas in Gaza, as reported by Al Mayadeen.
Surging violence
Gaza’s Civil Defense announced that over 40 Palestinians were killed on Saturday in an Israeli airstrike targeting a home sheltering more than 100 displaced individuals in the Tel al-Zaatar area, north of the Gaza Strip.
The department noted that a significant number of victims remain buried under the rubble, with rescue efforts hampered by a lack of Civil Defense teams and medical personnel in northern Gaza.
Similar devastation was reported in Jabalia and Beit Lahia, where dozens of victims have been trapped under the ruins of their homes for two days.
In Gaza City’s al-Nasr neighborhood, an Israeli strike on a home housing displaced families near the Italian Complex resulted in one martyr and multiple injuries.
These incidents occur as Israeli forces intensify their bombardment of residential areas in northern Gaza.
Meanwhile, an Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Gaza reported the martyrdom of journalist Mamdouh Qunayta of Al Aqsa TV, who was killed by an Israeli drone strike while at al-Mamdani Hospital.
