The malevolent powers are employing their capabilities and their most developed means of murder and supplying them to the Israeli occupation to kill the Palestinian people in Gaza, Yemeni leader Sayyed Abdul Malik al-Houthi said on Thursday.

Addressing the Israeli aggression on Gaza, Sayyed al-Houthi underlined during his speech that the same weapons being used against heavy armaments and entire armies are being used by the occupation to bomb children and women in Gaza.

This level of criminality, he said, killing tens of thousands of women and children and maintaining this pace of aggression, in addition to the great extent of damage and killing and criminality for the fifth month in a row, all goes back to the support of the United States.

The Yemeni leader accused the United States of being the chief party to blame for the genocide in Gaza.

The United States supplies the occupation entity with more than 25,000 tons of weapons to be used in killing the residents of Gaza, he stressed.

Washington "participates [in the genocide] by supplying military experts and participating in the Israeli war council," Sayyed al-Houthi said, recalling that the occupation has carried out more than 46,000 airstrikes on the limited area of Gaza.

He further underlined that the quantity of explosives used by the Israeli occupation to bombard the Gaza Strip is equivalent to four times the payload of the atomic bomb dropped by the US on Hiroshima.

Sayyed Al-Houthi lamented the extent of the destruction inflicted on the Gaza Strip as a result of the aggression, stating that "the occupation completely destroyed 79,200 residential units and partially destroyed 290,000 residential units. Additionally, 30 hospitals were completely taken out of service."

The amount of rubble left behind by the Israeli bombardment of Gaza might take around three years to be cleared off, he said, adding that this was done to make Gaza uninhabitable. "The occupation admitted that it launched more than 90,000 missiles and artillery shells at Gaza in just 50 days."

"According to publicly available statistics, 95% of Gaza's population have been displaced," the Yemeni leader underlined, bringing to light the plunder of civilian homes being carried out by Israeli soldiers in both Gaza and the occupied West Bank.

He also commented on the grave violations of human rights being committed by the Israeli occupation forces within Israeli prisons against Palestinian prisoners.

As part of the large-scale destruction and violations of the rights of the people of Gaza, he reminded that the Israeli occupation exhumed 2,000 graves and stole the organs of more than 300 people.

Egypt must defend Rafah

The leader of the Ansar Allah movement warned against the continuation of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and the conspiracy in Rafah in particular, stating that it requires intervention from Arab states.

He emphasized the need for a strong and audible response from all Arab and Islamic countries and the international community against the plot being woven for Rafah.

Al-Houthi believed that it was Egypt's duty to take the lead regarding Rafah as it threatened its national security.

Regarding the fronts supporting Gaza, the Yemeni leader affirmed that support for Palestine extends from southern Lebanon to the Resistance in Iraq, all the way to Yemen. "The enemies acknowledge the impact of the Yemeni front," he said.

Al-Houthi also confirmed that the United States was facing the forces of the free peoples supporting the Palestinian people, clarifying that that is the reason why it has been launching airstrikes on Yemen.

The regional developments are a strategic failure and a shift for the Americans, al-Houthi said, expressing his disappointment with the various parties hesitantly taking a stance as others are complicit with the enemy and assist it covertly.

Aggression on Yemen met with failure

Regarding the US-British aggression on Yemen, al-Houthi said Yemen's enemies (the US and the UK) acknowledge the impact of the Yemeni front in supporting Gaza against the Israeli occupation and its economy.

The operations carried out by the Yemeni armed forces at sea have had an effect in preventing the movement of ships associated with the Israeli occupation, almost bringing maritime trade to a standstill. He also noted the continued rise in prices in Israeli markets as a result.

The Israeli enemy has been one of the biggest beneficiaries of maritime trade in the Red Sea and the Bab el Mandeb Strait, the Ansar Allah leader said. The operations of the Yemeni armed forces at sea have led to a strategic shift in the region's status quo, severely impacting US and British influence.

He stressed that the status quo that allowed the United States to threaten regional parties without accountability was broken.

According to the Israeli enemy's acknowledgment, he added, the Yemeni Armed Forces' operations led to a near-complete shutdown of the Um al-Rashrash port, and all the food supplies for the Israeli occupation through the Red Sea and Bab el Mandeb was cut by 70%.

Regarding the airstrikes carried out by the United States and Britain on Yemen, al-Houthi said there were 40 airstrikes launched on Yemen this past week, "and they did not achieve their goal. The only solution is to stop the aggression on Gaza."

"We have confirmed to European countries that they are not the target of operations in the Red Sea and that the US and British military failed to protect ships associated with the Israeli enemy," he asserted.

While observing the Israeli occupation and the US-led coalition's insistence on continuing to embark on their failure, causing them hefty losses without impacting or limiting the military operations of the Yemeni Armed Forces, he affirmed that American and British support for the Israeli enemy aims to perpetuate the latter's commission of genocide in Gaza.

Finally, he warned that the United States was attempting to involve more countries in its acts of aggression to serve the Israeli occupation, warning European countries not to fall into the trap set up by the US.

"Our operations at sea serve to exert pressure to ensure the entry of food and medical and humanitarian aid into Gaza," he concluded.

Approximately 5,000 to 6,000 ships recently crossed the Red Sea: Official

The director of the Yemeni Maritime Affairs Authority in Hodeidah, Ibrahim Al-Mushki, told Al Mayadeen that Yemen is keen on implementing international regulations regarding the security of ships and port facilities, especially in the port of Hodeidah.

Al-Mushki affirmed that there is no cause for concern, as the Red Sea and maritime navigation are completely secure, highlighting that in the recent period, approximately 5,000 to 6,000 ships have crossed the Red Sea.

The official indicated that Yemen is committed to securing maritime navigation under international standards and agreements. He recalled that last month, the Secretary-General of the International Maritime Organization reassured all shipping companies and maritime lines that navigation in the Red Sea is open and safe.

Al-Mushki pointed out that what threatens maritime navigation is the militarization of the sea and the military presence of British and American forces in the region, not the legal measures taken by Yemen in support of the Palestinian people in Gaza.

He revealed that the Yemeni authorities recently received information that the radars and communication devices of ships sailing through the Bab al-Mandab Strait are being jammed by US and British forces in the Red Sea, deeming the act as a blatant violation of international agreements that poses a danger to navigation.

The Yemeni official made it clear that  Yemen is part of the international community and has common interests with all countries, in line with the independence of nations and the implementation of effective international agreements.

Elsewhere, al-Mushki expressed hope that Egypt stands with the Palestine people in Gaza to lift the imposed Israeli blockade.

It is noteworthy that Yemeni officials have reiterated that the Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) only chose clear and specific targets to hit the Israeli enemy until the American and British forces became involved in the aggression against Yemen, which turned them into targets as well, reiterating that no other countries are being targeted by the YAF.
