The Chief of Staff of the al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, has addressed a message to the Chief of Staff of Yemen’s Armed Forces, Major General Muhammad al-Ghamari, expressing deep appreciation for Yemen’s continued support for the Palestinian people and their resistance.
The message was shared on Friday by the spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, who published its contents in an official statement.
“You have paid a heavy price worthy of the great in defense of your brothers in Gaza,” the al-Qassam Chief of Staff told al-Ghamari. “You have been the most advanced front in the nation when it comes to combat, support, confrontation, mass mobilization, and a resounding voice in every arena of dignity and solidarity.”
He further stressed that Yemen’s position is a source of pride that “history will record and generations will recount,” affirming that “God will not waste Yemen’s jihad and sacrifices.”
The message comes as Yemen, under the leadership of Ansar Allah, continues to carry out operations in support of Gaza by targeting Israeli assets in the occupied Palestinian territories and vessels affiliated with “Israel” in both the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea.
On the popular level, massive weekly demonstrations continue across Yemeni cities, showing widespread solidarity with the Palestinian people and rejecting the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
Shared struggle of the Axis of Resistance
Drawing a connection between the Israeli genocide in Gaza and the strikes on Iran, Ansar Allah leader Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi underscored the shared struggle of the Axis of Resistance.
“The battle from Gaza to Iran is one, the cause is one, and the nation is one,” he said, warning that the West’s real objective is the domination of the Muslim world. He added that Iran is being targeted because of its steadfast support for the Palestinian cause.
He went on to accuse the Israeli occupation of committing genocide in Gaza, deliberately targeting civilians and aid distribution centers.
“The enemy has turned aid centres into execution sites and death traps,” Sayyed al-Houthi emphasized.
This refers to the daily harrowing massacres in which "Israel" carries out mass killings of starving Palestinians waiting for food aid. The killings reportedly occur near a facility operated by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), a controversial aid mechanism established under US sponsorship and directly coordinated with Israeli occupation forces.
The GHF has become a centerpiece of a new, militarized aid model imposed after "Israel" partially eased its three-month siege. However, this model has increasingly been linked to mass killings, sparking outrage from humanitarian organizations and Palestinians alike.
He also warned against ongoing Israeli provocations at al-Aqsa Mosque, including its closure to worshippers and its militarization, describing these actions as part of a broader colonial agenda.
Yemen's unwavering support
The leader of Ansar Allah reaffirmed Yemen’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people, the free peoples of the Ummah, and the Islamic Republic in their shared struggle against the Israeli enemy.
“Our military operations against the Israeli enemy are ongoing, and the blockade on its maritime navigation continues and is fully controlled within the operational theatre,” he declared.
He further emphasized that the mass mobilization of the Yemeni people is not merely a gesture of solidarity with Palestine but also a vital force contributing to Yemen’s strength, resilience, and progress.
