IOF raids in the West Bank: 7 Palestinians arrested, 1 killed
Israeli occupation forces escalated their raids across the occupied West Bank and al-Quds, detaining at least 7 Palestinians and killing one, amid rising settler violence.

Israeli Occupation Forces carried out a raid and arrest campaign in the West Bank on Sunday, detaining 7 Palestinians, as tensions escalate on the ground and violent attacks expand alongside the ongoing aggression on Gaza.
According to the official Palestinian news agency WAFA, the occupation forces began their operation by storming the village of Abu Njaim, southeast of Bethlehem, where they arrested two young men, Karam Ghalib al-Hreimi and Mukhtar Salah al-Hreimi, after raiding and searching their homes.
In the town of al-Kheder, south of Bethlehem, Israeli forces raided the homes of Palestinian families and arrested two young men, Khaled Omar Khaled Sabih and Hamza Omar Muhammad Sabih.
In the southern West Bank, specifically in the Masafer Yatta area south of al-Khalil, Israeli occupation forces arrested citizen Na'im Khalid Abu 'Aram after assaulting him during their raid on the village of Khirbet Aqawwis.
At the same time, armed settlers carried out incursions into the villages of Umm Nir, Aghziyah, and Susiya, conducting provocative raids that terrified local residents, especially women and children.
'Israel' searches dozens of Palestinian vehicles in al-Quds
In the northern West Bank, multiple areas across Ramallah governorate witnessed sweeping raids by the IOF, including the towns of Arura, Jalazun refugee camp, and the village of Kafr Malik, resulting in the arrest of an unidentified young man from Arura as well as Iyad Muhammad Iyad Dweik from Jalazun after Israeli forces stormed his home.
In Kfar Malik, forces raided and searched three homes without making any arrests. Meanwhile, an Israeli military unit stormed Balata refugee camp east of Nablus, where they searched both a kindergarten and a private residence.
In occupied al-Quds, Israeli special police forces raided the town of Hizma northeast of the city, setting up a military checkpoint that stopped and searched dozens of Palestinian vehicles as part of the ongoing policy to tighten security restrictions around the entrances to the occupied capital.
According to the WAFA, Israeli policies in the West Bank have resulted in the killing of 974 Palestinians in the West Bank since October 7, 2023, along with nearly 7,000 injuries and the arrest of over 17,000 people—marking an unprecedented escalation in years.
IOF kill one, detain eight in West Bank Raids
Earlier on Sunday, the Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that Israeli occupation forces attacked Palestinians near the separation wall in Adh Dhahiriya town, south of occupied al-Khalil (Hebron) Governorate, killing one young man and wounding two others.
Ali Ismail Taloul, a 30-year-old resident of Adh Dhahiriya, was fatally shot by Israeli occupation forces on Saturday after soldiers opened fire on a group of Palestinians near the separation wall.
Two others from the nearby town of Idhna sustained injuries in the incident, according to security, medical, and local sources who spoke to the Palestinian WAFA news agency.
Continuous raids in the West Bank
On Friday, the first day of Eid al-Adha, tensions flared across the occupied West Bank and al-Quds as Israeli occupation forces conducted large-scale raids and arrests. The operations were accompanied by demolitions and violent confrontations in multiple locations.
In Jenin, the Jenin Brigade of the al-Quds Brigades stated that its fighters from the Yamoun Company engaged Israeli forces in the al-Masara area, detonating a pre-planted explosive device along the military vehicles' route while also showering the raiding troops with gunfire.
In Nablus, Israeli forces raided the town of Beit Furik, east of the city, triggering violent confrontations with Palestinian youths, while military vehicles pushed into the town of Beita and surrounded the Jabal Sbeih area amid heavy gunfire.
In the same area, Israeli forces detained five Palestinian youths at the Sara checkpoint, west of Nablus, during search operations and provocations, while simultaneously ramping up their military presence across the western part of the city.
