Israeli aggression hits residential buildings, industrial city in Homs
Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Damascus has reported that at least 3 explosions were heard following Israeli raids on the industrial area, east of al-Qusayr, in the southern Homs countryside.
An Israeli attack targeted several residential buildings and the industrial area in the city of al-Qusayr in southern Homs countryside, Syria, on Thursday.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Damascus confirmed that the Israeli strike hit the industrial area east of al-Qusayr, noting that "there were injuries among civilians."
A similar attack took place in May, where Israeli occupation's aggression targeted the south of Syria's Homs, killing four people.
The area is frequently targeted by Israeli occupation forces due to its strategic importance and closeness to the Lebanese borders.
In late February, the IOF targeted a truck in Syria's al-Qusayr in the countryside of Homs near the border with Lebanon.
This comes after the Israeli occupation increased its attacks on Syrian territories, when Israeli fighter jets launched several missiles from the occupied Syrian Golan Heights, targeting a residential building in the Kafr Sousa neighborhood in Damascus. The aggression resulted in the martyrdom of two civilians and the injury of another.
