Israeli crimes may amount to 'war crimes, genocide': Ex-ICC prosecutor
Luis Moreno Ocampo explains that murdering innocent civilians in Gaza could prompt an investigation to be opened against "Israel" by the ICC.
Argentinian lawyer and former prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC), Luis Moreno Ocampo, took to social media platform X to condemn "Israel" in four posts that will probably infuriate the occupation to its very core.
In his thread, the first post read: "A full blockade of Gaza could be considered a crime against humanity and a genocide. It could be investigated by the International Criminal Court."

He then continued to explain that murdering innocent civilians in Gaza could prompt an investigation to be opened against them by the ICC since they constitute "war crimes" and "crimes against humanity."
Killing civilians in Gaza could be investigated as war crimes and crimes against humanity by the International Criminal Court. Israel's answer to Hamas crimes should not be a pogrom in Gaza.

In addition, he declared that by attempting to end Hamas, "Israel is planning to kill thousands" and stated that "history shows that leaders are replaced by new ones."

"Justice is the way to control crimes. Israel should not accelerate into the world disorder abyss."
Division in the EU
As many in the world, people and governments, are rising and speaking up against the atrocities and international law violations by "Israel" against the people of Palestine, many remain in the shadows and many have the nerve to come out and condemn the Palestinian Resistance operation instead, turning a blind eye to the occupation.
Today, Spain’s Minister for Social Rights Ione Belarra condemned "Israel" for plotting a "planned genocide" in Gaza, as she described the siege on the Strip as an act of "collective punishment" potentially constituting a "war crime".
She continued to urge the people of Spain to take to the streets and demand to refrain from joining the US unwavering support for "Israel", urging the Global South to come up with a solution.
The EU has remained divided this past week after EU Foreign Policy Chief Josep Borrell claimed EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen did not represent the body when she announced support to Netanyahu during a visit to Gaza on Friday, which she was chastised for, as she did not explicitly call on "Israel" to abide by international law.
Borell said "Israel’s" actions in Gaza already may have breached international law, as he underlined the need for the EU to continue the funding for Palestine.
Many European leftist parties have criticized the leaders of their countries who expressed solidarity with "Israel" after the Palestinian Resistance launched Operation Al-Aqsa Flood in response to the never-ending Israeli aggression and crimes against Palestinians.
