Israeli drone strikes truck in Syria's al-Qusayr near Lebanon border
The Israeli strike lead to the destruction of the truck.
An Israeli drone targeted on Sunday a truck in Syria's al-Qusayr in the countryside of Homs near the border with Lebanon, leading to its destruction, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported.
This comes after the Israeli occupation has increased its attacks on Syrian territories, with the latest being on Wednesday, when Israeli fighter jets launched several missiles from the occupied Syrian Golan Heights, targeting a residential building in the Kafr Sousa neighborhood in Damascus. The aggression resulted in the martyrdom of two civilians and the injury of another.

Syria issued heightened warnings in the recent period, asserting that Israeli aggressive policies threaten to ignite the region and push it towards comprehensive escalation that jeopardizes regional and international peace and security.
Damascus emphasized that the ongoing aggression against the sovereignty of Syrian territories comes within the framework of the occupation authorities' efforts to expand and escalate their aggression in the region, to cover up their war crimes, genocide, crimes against humanity, and brutal massacres committed daily against the Palestinian people in Gaza.

The attacks also aim to help "Israel" escape from its failure in the face of the will and determination of the Palestinian people to achieve freedom, self-determination, and the establishment of their independent Palestinian state on their national soil with al-Quds as its capital.
"The hysterical Israeli attacks will not deter [Syria] from continuing to combat terrorism supported by Israel and its sponsors, nor will they diminish its determination to reclaim its occupied territories," the Syrian Foreign Ministry said earlier referring to occupied Golan.
