Israeli occupation forces launched a new wave of raids and detentions across several areas of the occupied West Bank on Friday, continuing their campaign of repression against Palestinian residents.
According to Israeli media, the occupation's military conducted extensive searches in the Beitar Illit city settlement, claiming concerns over a potential “security incident.” The sweeping operations came amid heightened military activity across the West Bank, where daily incursions continue to take place.
Raids and injuries in Nablus
In the northern city of Nablus, occupation forces detained two young Palestinians during a pre-dawn raid. Local sources reported that one of the youths was shot with live ammunition inside his home before being detained.
Witnesses said Israeli special units infiltrated the al-Makhfiyya neighborhood under cover of darkness, followed by armored military vehicles that stormed the area. The forces surrounded a residential building, opened fire inside one of the homes, and later arrested two Palestinians, one of them wounded.

Palestinian youth martyred in Jenin
On Thursday evening, a Palestinian youth was martyred after being shot by Israeli occupation forces during a raid on the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin. The incident adds to the growing number of Palestinians killed in the West Bank amid "Israel’s" ongoing military operations and collective punishment measures.
Israeli occupation forces continue to target Palestinians and their property throughout the occupied West Bank through repeated raids, home invasions, and arbitrary detentions. These operations often lead to violent confrontations, casualties, and widespread damage to civilian areas.
The continued uptick in violence in the West Bank comes after the Israeli regime halted the majority of its assaults in Gaza, in line with a ceasefire agreed to with the Palestinian Resistance on October 9.
