UN Special Rapporteur Reem Alsalem said Thursday in Geneva that "Israel" is using what she described as “reproductive violence as a genocidal tool” against Palestinians.

She explained that by targeting Palestinian women’s ability to give birth, "Israel" is seeking to alter the region’s demographic makeup in a manner consistent with the UN Genocide Convention’s definition of intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a protected group.

As of now, Israeli aggression has resulted in over 56,000 deaths and more than 132,000 injuries among Palestinians in Gaza.
