Resistance Axis will always pursue 'destroying Israel': Israeli media
Israeli analysts and media outlets take special note of the recent meetings held between Iranian and Palestinian Resistance leaders in Tehran.
The meetings held between the head of Hamas Political Bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, and the Secretary-General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) Ziyad al-Nakhalah, and high-ranking Iranian officials in Tehran was "no coincidence", the Israeli news website Israel Hayom remarked.
Israeli media outlets took special note of the series of separate meetings held by the leaders of the Palestinian Resistance and Iranian leaders, diplomats, and military officials this week.
According to Israel Hayom, these high-level talks indicated that the Axis of Resistance is looking to formulate a collective attack on "Israel" through multiple fronts, which would not allow the occupation "to stand on its feet ever again."
It is extremely difficult to figure out the plans of Iran and the Palestinian factions, the news website reported, adding that the Axis of Resistance will never let go of its goal of destroying "Israel".
"At this moment, it is impossible to say that Hamas is broken, especially since the Israeli government is preoccupied with petty politics and personal disputes," Israel Hayom wrote.
On his part, a senior researcher for the Israeli "Institution for National Security Studies" (INSS), Raz Zimmt, compared the state of frail Israeli decision-making to the high-level talks held between leaders of the Palestinian Resistance and Iranian officials.
Zimmt said that the publicized meetings were intended to send a direct message to "Israel", which is that Tehran will always consider Hamas and the Palestinian Resistance the legitimate representatives of the Palestinian people.
The senior researcher's comments come as the governments of "Israel" and the United States attempt to meddle in internal Palestinian affairs, specifically in the Gaza Strip, to manage "civilian affairs".

Haniyeh meets with top Iranian military officials
After holding talks with the Iranian leader Sayyed Ali Khamenei, the Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, and top diplomats, the Hamas delegation, headed by Haniyeh, met with a number of high-ranking military officials, including the Iranian Armed Forces Chief of Staff Mohammad Bagheri.
Some of the details of the meeting were made public, however, the unprecedented talks were sure to lead to major developments for the Resistance.
Bagheri told Haniyeh and the delegation that advancing the Palestinian cause has been and will continue to be a main strategy of Tehran after the victory of the Islamic Revolution in 1979.
On his part, Haniyeh expressed his appreciation for the support offered by Iranian officials and the nation as a whole. He also hailed the efforts of the former leader of the Iranian Islamic Revolution's Guard Corps' al-Quds Force, martyr Qassem Soleimani, for supporting the oppressed people of the world.
It is worth noting that Tehran also saw a meeting between the two Palestinian Resistance delegations, headed by Haniyeh and al-Nakhalah respectively, where they discussed developments and future plans.
