War on Gaza failed to achieve objectives in Gaza: Israeli media
Channel 13 analyst Raviv Drucker criticizes "Operation Iron Swords," stating it failed to defeat Hamas or achieve strategic goals, resulting instead in high Israeli casualties and massive destruction in Gaza.

Raviv Drucker, a political affairs analyst at Channel 13, criticized the outcome of the so-called "Operation Iron Swords," stating that the Israeli prime minister and chief of staff had promised it would decisively deal with Hamas, but the results proved otherwise.
Drucker pointed out that the operation failed to meet any of its declared objectives. “They entered this operation, and 20 Israelis were killed. But in reality, the issue with Hamas remains unresolved. The enemy has not been eliminated, and we don't know what was actually achieved,” he said.
He emphasized that what was clearly achieved was "massive destruction in the Gaza Strip," adding that thousands of Palestinians were killed, but there is no clarity on how many were affiliated with Hamas and how many were civilians.
Drucker noted that the government also failed to make any meaningful progress on a prisoner exchange deal. “The claim was that we would create better conditions for a swap. Yet Hamas’s current stance, no to displacement, no to disarmament, no to surrender, yes to stopping the war, shows otherwise.”
He concluded by calling for accountability: “Before moving to the next phase, someone must take responsibility for dragging us into this operation, Iron Swords, which in my view is one of the most cynical and costly operations we have seen.”
'Israel' remains vulnerable in Gaza
This comes as the Israeli army suffers heavy losses in deadly ambushes, highlighting the capabilities of the Palestinian Resistance in Gaza, particularly in areas like Khan Younis, where Israeli forces remain vulnerable to unconventional and asymmetrical tactics.
The Israeli occupation forces announced on June 25 that seven of their personnel, consisting of one officer and six soldiers, had been killed during a lethal ambush executed by the Palestinian Resistance in Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
Meanwhile, "Israel" continues its genocidal war on Gaza, with dozens of Palestinians being killed on a daily basis across the Strip, and especially around aid distribution points.
