Iran poses multidimensional threat to 'Israel': Israeli media
The Israeli newspaper Jerusalem Post says Iran aims to create a ring of fire surrounding "Israel" and to diplomatically isolate the occupation entity.
Iran is carrying out a "diplomatic attack" and poses a multidimensional threat to "Israel", the Jerusalem Post wrote.
The Israeli newspaper reported that the newly-appointed Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghshi quickly mobilized to boost Iran's role in the region, while the country simultaneously continued threatening the Israeli occupation with military force.
The Jerusalem Post said Araghshi's mobilization signifies a "multi-level Iranian attack", noting that he operates within his area of expertise.
At the same time, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and Iranian envoys are working on bolstering bilateral ties with major countries, the newspaper added, recalling the meeting between the Iranian and Turkish ambassadors in Iraq to exchange viewpoints on regional matters and the onslaught in Gaza as proof.
Last week, Araghchi announced Iran's willingness to ease tensions with the US and revive relations with European countries if they halt their "hostile approach" to the Islamic Republic.
The newspaper claimed another proof is the meeting between Pezeshkian and the Qatari prime minister in Tehran. It further added that "Doha is a key partner to Iran", noting that the Iranian diplomatic campaign consists of enhanced discourse with Egypt as well.
According to JP, Iran aims to create a ring of fire surrounding "Israel" and to diplomatically isolate the occupation entity. It further stated that "this week's meetings form a part of a wider agenda."
Araghshi has been contacting several allies and country officials over the past week to discuss regional matters and bilateral relations with each. Phone calls with foreign officials included his counterparts in Saudi Arabia, Syria, Venezuela, France, Brazil, and Italy.
