Mass protests in Damascus have not stopped since the start of the month-long aggression on the Gaza Strip. Thousands of Syrian youth and students took to the streets previously demanding an end to the Israeli aggression on Gaza.
Demonstrations were also organized in several Syrian governates, including Aleppo, Tartous, Latakia, Daraa, and Homs where thousands reiterated their support to the Palestinian people.
During Tuesday's demonstration, Talal Naji, the Secretary-General of the Palestinian Front for the Liberation of Palestine - General Command (PFLP-GC), stressed that the Resistance party unequivocally trusts "Hezbollah and its Secretary General's (Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah)" approach to this battle with the Israeli occupation.
Naji also highlighted the role Iran played in fighting terrorism in Syria, Lebanon, and Iraq.
"Iran offered its crown jewel Martyr Qassem Soleimani a martyr for the sake of Palestine, Al-Quds, and the Axis of Resistance."
The PFLP-GC leader called for a global campaign to pressure the United States to end the aggression on Gaza.
The country has seen its fair share of "Israel's" airstrikes, as the occupation intensified its bombing of the Damascus and Aleppo international airports following the launch of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.
The Syrian government has also condemned the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on multiple occasions and expressed its support for the legitimate Palestinian right to resist the occupation.
Syria has also called on the Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to take the necessary steps to unearth "Israel's" nuclear program, following remarks by the "Heritage" Minister who called for the nuclear bombing of the Strip.
