Israeli occupation forces are persisting with their violations and assaults across the West Bank, detaining dozens of Palestinians, razing houses, and seizing properties. At the same time, more than 100 settlers forcibly raided the al-Aqsa Mosque and carried out Talmudic rites.
A Palestinian citizen was martyred and another was injured after being shot by Israeli settlers in Surif, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
Meanwhile, Israeli settlers launched an attack on Palestinian civilians in the Wadi al-Watawt area northwest of al-Khalil Governorate on Thursday, setting residents' lands on fire, Palestinian media reported.
IOF demolish homes, force out residents
In Beit Hanina, north of occupied al-Quds, Israeli forces forced two Palestinians to demolish their homes, while an Israeli court ordered two families in Silwan's Batn al-Hawa neighborhood to leave their houses within 30 days for settler groups, according to local authorities.
This brings the total number of demolitions in the eastern part of occupied al-Quds to 93 since the start of the year, including 53 residential units and 40 non-residential structures.
In Nablus, occupation forces demolished one home and seized another, while continuing their raid on the Balata refugee camp for a second consecutive day. According to Palestinian media, troops stormed dozens of houses, stole money and jewelry, and assaulted residents during the widespread military operation.
The Balata camp was put under tight siege, with all entrances sealed and Palestinian movement banned, while Israeli forces deliberately blocked ambulances from reaching the wounded and sick.
Settlers raid Al-Aqsa Mosque
Under heavy guard by Israeli forces, 134 settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque through the Mughrabi Gate in organized groups, with far-right former politician Yehuda Glick leading the provocative incursion, officials from al-Quds confirmed.
The report noted that the settlers performed Talmudic rituals, with some conducting what they call "epic prostration" ceremonies within the mosque compound.
IOF arrests dozens of Palestinians in the West Bank
In the al-Khalil governorate, Israeli forces detained four Palestinians, including two brothers and an underage girl, after raiding their homes, vandalizing property, and terrorizing their families for over four hours, according to local media reports.
Israeli forces also raided the towns of Bani Naim, Sa'eer, and al-Shuyukh, forcibly searching Palestinian homes without making arrests, while in the Jinba area of Masafer Yatta, soldiers chased shepherds and fired tear gas canisters at them.
Israeli forces raided multiple districts in northern Nablus, violently arresting a Palestinian resident during a home invasion in Ras al-Ain, even as the occupation regime confirmed 81 administrative detention orders, including renewals, just the previous day.
Settler violence surged to 415 documented attacks targeting Palestinian civilians, homes, and farmland throughout the occupied West Bank in May alone, as per the Anti-Wall and Settlement Resistance Committee.
